Responsible for the business result of the assigned accounts and sales area, the Sr Sales Specialist builds relationships with key decision makers in Hospital Units and Distributor level. He / she develops and maintains productive relationships with key administrative and key decisional stakeholders in order to influence decisional processes to facilitate the Acute business. He / she contributes to maximize all market opportunities. Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, securing and managing client relationships, and driving the achievement of sales goals. Essential Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a Hospital/Customer business plan and key customer satisfaction goals for the assigned accounts and / or sales area via various Distribution Channels. • Maintain, develop, and consolidate relationships with all important functions within the National and Regional Healthcare System at sales area level and at Hospital level (where applicable) • Responsible for the business result of the assigned accounts and / or sales area • Responsible for Demand Forecasting, Budget preparation, Financial Forecast preparation in assigned area for all product levels. • Bring in market intelligence and customer knowledge. • Closely work with his supervisor while monitoring regional / local key policies that may affect Hospital business in designated sales area. • Maintain a watch brief on developments within the sales area and customer organization which may affect future business in co-operation with Marketing functions. • Analyze account attractiveness and develop the account plan including sales, market share and required resources in co-operation with Marketing functions. • Make field visits, product presentation, seminars, customer training and establish strong relationships with key decision makers and committees within the sales area and buying organizations for Hospitals or Distributors. • Attends conferences as appropriate, translates customer learnings and summarizes customer follow up activities in alignment with supervisor direction. • Plans, prepares, promotes, attends and delivers workshops, seminars and conferences as required. At all times only using pre-approved training educational materials. • Keeps accurate records of all educational activities. Ensures that all trainings are documented as per Baxter policy and procedure • Closely monitor and report competitive activities at sales area level. • Work with Managers in implementing multi-source product sales and marketing strategies. • Manage expense budget for assigned area. • Develop and manage new services for key customers and sales area. • Collect any adverse event report, other safety information, product complaints and medical enquiries concerning Baxter medicinal products and forward it per internal timelines to appropriate Baxter Pharmacovigilance or Quality department. • Further relevant responsibilities/ tasks as advised from time to time by your Manager
