We are seeking a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making, process optimization, and strategic insights related to raw material cost fluctuations and commercial pricing. This role will work cross-functionally to analyze pricing trends, forecast cost impacts, and support pricing strategies that optimize profitability.

 

As part of the Revenue Operations (RevOps) team, this position will collaborate closely with sales, finance, procurement, and opperations to ensure real-time pricing adjustments align with market conditions and business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, detail oriented, experience managing pricing models in manufacturing, and the ability to execute process improvements through strategic project management.

Pricing & Cost Analysis:

Analyze raw material cost trends and commercial pricing structures, identifying potential risks and opportunities.Develop and maintain pricing models that align with fluctuating commodity prices, supplier costs, and market conditions.Work closely with finance and procurement to assess the impact of raw material price volatility on margins and profitability.Support commercial teams by providing pricing recommendations and competitive market analysis to enhance pricing strategies.Ensure real-time updates to pricing databases, contracts, and internal pricing tools to reflect market-driven changes.

Project Management & Process Optimization:

Lead cross-functional projects focused on improving sales and pricing processes, cost tracking, and SIOP forecasting.Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations teams to streamline the pricing update process and improve accuracy.Identify efficiency gaps in pricing workflows and implement technology or process enhancements to reduce manual work.Oversee the development and deployment of automated pricing tools and dashboards to enhance decision-making.Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new pricing policies and system improvements.

Data-Driven Insights & Reporting:

Build and maintain BI dashboards and reports to track cost fluctuations, pricing adjustments, and overall revenue impact.Develop forecasting models to anticipate cost trends and inform pricing strategy decisions.Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership on pricing strategies and cost mitigation tactics.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in ERP, CRM, and pricing management systems. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in business analysis, pricing, or financial analysis, preferably in manufacturingStrong experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP certification is a plus).Expertise in pricing strategies, cost modeling, and margin analysis.Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, CRM, and ERP systemsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence pricing and operational decisions.
