Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Senior Sales Engineer - Data Center. This is a hybrid-based position and candidates for this role must reside within 50 miles of our Boothwyn, PA location to be considered for this position. Relocation assistance will be offered for successful applicants who live outside of this location **.**
**What you’ll do:**
**Position Overview:**
The general function of the Sales Engineer is to sell Eaton’s power quality product portfolio (equipment and services) to targeted customers and prospects in our Philadelphia district. The position’s primary responsibility is to manage and grow sales for the assigned customer base; specifically focused on existing and new end-users, calling on electrical contractors and distributors, and supporting assigned power resellers. This role requires highly developed technical sales skills needed to provide application guidance and design support. The Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving assigned sales goals with moderate supervision, consistent with the expectations of a professional sales engineer. This role requires coordination of sales motions (towards customers, prospects and associated channel partners) including managing all aspects of these business relationships.

**In this function you will:**
+ Communicate with all parties to facilitate problem resolution
+ Collect, analyze and leverage market intelligence to win orders
+ Review and interpret customer needs
+ Provide timely responses & solutions to customer requests
+ Report to product divisions on market conditions and competitive activities
+ Prepare and present bids/quotations using company price and delivery guidelines

**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
+ Minimum three (3) years of electrical industry experience
+ Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
+ Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Sales

+ Possess excellent communication, time management, presentation and planning skills
+ Knowledge of Eaton electrical product and service capabilities
+ Possess an understanding of the technical sales process
+ Demonstrate an understanding of market trends, industry issues and knowledge of competitors
+ Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
+ Ability to leverage support personnel to meet customer and organizational needs
+ Ability to travel up to 25%
The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $97,500 - $143,000.
Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
