Senior Risk Specialist - Minneapolis
Description Apply Now Open sharing options Save Saved Share This position is one of three openings supporting risk management initiatives for Clearing Broker Dealers by analyzing data across multiple systems to ensure accurate risk measures and reporting. Key responsibilities include data research, resolving discrepancies, and managing regulatory inquiries. Ideal candidates bring expertise in risk assessment and a proactive approach to enhancing risk frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Support operational and regulatory audits or inquiries in a timely and accurate manner. Facilitate alignment conversations, resolve escalated issues and act as a point of contact for business and senior leaders on regulatory inquiries and audits.Analyze, identify, research, and resolve requests for data, reports and statistics utilized by the team.Business Continuity Plan participant and representative for the Risk Management Team. Contributing member of a cross-functional sub-group for all Business Continuity Plans (BCP).Provide expertise to other areas for enhancement and implementation, inclusive of change control processes and other risk management functions. Proactively identify opportunities and recommend solutions to mitigate current and future business risk.Assist with control testing for the various control programs – SOX, PPA, and 17a-5.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years).3-5 years of relevant experience.Finance, Risk or Accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.Financial/analytical reporting skills, including proficiency in Microsoft tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Control design and testing.Strong internal and external relationship management skills.Excellent analytical capabilities and interpersonal skills.Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $73,400 - $99,000 / year. Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that support all aspects of your health and well-being.
