The team
A career at our Risk & Regulation department within Advisory, will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a high calibre and dynamic team of professionals who scan the regulatory horizon and actively engage in dialogue with regulatory authorities, industry and professional bodies, providing a variety of tailor-made solutions to our clients in the Financial Services and other targeted sectors, to support their efforts in meeting regulatory expectations whilst focusing on sustainable long-term growth and value creation.
Main responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Advisory team as Senior Risk & Regulatory Consultant. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the delivery of a variety of tailor-made solutions to clients, helping them to comply with regulatory requirements emanating from local and European supervisory authorities and standard setters, whilst implementing international best practices.
As a member of the Risk & Regulation team, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their compliance efforts and delivering projects in key areas such as risk management, capital and liquidity, ESG & sustainability, governance and internal controls, risk data and reporting, and overall risk and regulatory compliance.
What we are looking for
■ 3-5 years of proven professional experience with exposure in the areas of risk management, regulatory compliance and / or ESG / sustainability. Candidates with solid experience in auditing financial services institutions will also be considered
■ University degree in areas such as Risk, Economics & Finance, Mathematics & Statistics, Engineering, Sustainability, Law
■ Highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills who can work in a fast paced dynamic environment, with an ability to take initiative, solve problems and deliver results
■ Good understanding of current market trends and the evolving regulatory landscape
■ Ability to coach more junior team members
■ Confident, articulate and able to communicate in a clear and effective manner
■ Strong organisational and reporting skills
■ Highly organised with a strong sense of initiative and personal responsibility
■ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek
It will be considered as an advantage if the candidate has:
■ A recognised finance or accounting qualification (ACA/ ACCA/ CFA and/ or CAMS)
■ Exposure with ESG / sustainability related regulatory disclosure requirements (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive & European Sustainability Reporting Standards, EU Taxonomy, Global Reporting Initiative, Pillar III disclosures on ESG risks, Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation etc)
■ Exposure in data collection, preparation and cleansing with the use of specialised tools to enable data analytics, reporting and monitoring activities
