Applicants must be within driving distance to our North Atlanta (Alpharetta), GA office to be considered for this role and have the ability to commute to a local office a minimum of three days per week.
A day in the life.
As a Sr. Retirement Plan Consultant, you will:
Builds strong partnerships with both clients and vendors based on the shared commitment to mutual goalsResponsible for the preparation, deliverance and follow through from client meetings (plan reviews) conducted either in person or via conference callManages pricing strategy, RFIs, RFPs and benchmarking for current clientsSupports sales process for new businessFacilitates plan design and investment changes with the recordkeeperCompletes analysis and sees through resolution to common operational issuesWork with clients, in coordination with internal resources, to address investment matters and design participant education strategiesParticipates in education and project related support as neededStays abreast of current market, business, regulatory and legislative issues & trends to facilitate discussions with clients Serves as a Relationship Manager to the firm’s institutional clientele – providing service, plan design education and recordkeeper/TPA/Other Vendor supportOur future colleague.

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Major in Business Administration preferred)Minimum of 7 Years Experience in working with Retirement Plan SponsorsStudent of the industry with demonstrated confidence of topical knowledgeDemonstrated knowledge of defined contribution financial products and servicesCustomer Focused: Passionate drive to delight our customers and offer solutions that deliver on their expectationsCritical Thinking: Thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem solving data to reach a well-reasoned solutionTeam Mentality: Partnering effectively to drive our culture and execute on our common goalsBusiness Acumen: Appreciation and understanding of the financial services industry in order to make sound business decisionsLearning Agility: Openness to new ways of thinkingEnjoys multi-tasking and works well under pressure – very organizedPossesses a drive for results through accountability and executionExcellent written and oral communication skillsMotivated self-starter, must enjoy working independently in a team environmentWillingness to develop new business opportunities and generate cross selling opportunities, where appropriateAble to obtain Series 65 or Series 66 license within 90 days of employmentRelevant industry designations preferredWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
