In this role, you will be responsible for the development of new mortgage business from both credit union members and non-credit union referral sources. Work includes prospecting non-member borrowers and referral sources as well as prospecting to credit union provided lead opportunities using knowledge of credit union products and mortgage guidelines, as well as an overall knowledge of mortgage lending and current market conditions.
Responsibilities Develops new mortgage business through referral sources such as realtors, and past clientsConducts outbound calling and selling to member leads and credit union provided non-member leadsDevelops and continually grows a diverse referral baseProspects and follows up credit union provided leads as well as identifies and sells Alliant’s mortgage strengths and nichesDevelops and consistently executes a goal focused business planTakes accurate and complete first mortgage loan applications, collects initial documentation and forwards to processing unitOriginates quality applications that meet Alliant’s product guidelinesSets proper borrower expectations and works with member and processing to facilitate a smooth and timely member experience to ensure member satisfaction and expectations are metSupports the Credit Union's relationship culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service and superior product knowledgeEnsures compliance with applicable state and federal laws, company procedures and policiesMaintains integrity and ethics in actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts; complies with Privacy Act directives Education:4 Year / Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Economics or Related Years of Experience:5 years as a retail loan officer or related$15M in annual conforming loan volume

Typical hiring range: $36,000 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
