Senior Research Analyst
**Description** The Capabilities, Analysis and Development (CAD) division of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) has an outstanding opportunity for a **Senior Research Analyst** to provide analysis support for research and development of leading-edge data products for countering weapons of mass destruction. The ideal candidate is excited for new challenges, interested in working with users to characterize and solve their data science challenges, and undaunted by deep data management tasks from a wide variety of datasets/sources. The candidate will engage in research in: + Data analysis to support R&D assessments for client requests. + Collaborating with the data science team and other analysts to analyze data, draft data presentation and information for client reports. + Performing study and research for online materials to resolve information gaps, eliminate ambiguities, capture and share relevant findings. + Delivering products that increase the client’s situational understanding and comprehension of WMD, improvised threats, and associated counter-proliferation networks. + Providing recommendations for further research. + The candidate is expected to make senior level presentations to government staff and to make recommendations on future research **Required Experience:** + Masters’s degree in related fields of research analysis + Minimum 10 years of experience in Intelligence Community data science and analysis + Top Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a current and valid Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) **Desired Qualifications:** + Minimum 15 years of experience **COMPANY INFORMATION:** Applied Research Associates, Inc. is an employee-owned international research and engineering company recognized for providing technically superior solutions to complex and challenging problems in the physical sciences.
