Senior Recruiter

JOB FUNCTION:

 

This position is primarily responsible for high-level recruitment, focusing on filling senior, executive, salaried, and highly specialized positions that may require a more nuanced approach.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

1.       Continually work with department managers, general managers, HR managers, and executive level leadership to determine and identify department and division needs.

2.       Leverage skills to develop and deliver a strategic recruiting strategy with internal managers.

3.       Understand functional hiring needs and translate those needs into effective passive and active sourcing strategies.

4.       Communicate proactively and regularly with Hiring Managers and Candidates to ensure a seamless recruiting experience.

5.       Be the liaison between the candidate(s) and management throughout the hiring process.

6.       Proactive research of industry competitors to develop and execute advanced recruiting strategies, often working on employer branding and talent pipeline development

7.       Understand candidate requirements, working with the benefit and compensation manager to provide compensation guidance.

8.       Participate in job fairs, presentations and other public relation events for employer branding and recruiting needs

9.       Establish, maintain and grow relationships with community contacts, college officials, and local professionals.

10.   Present offer to salaried candidates, establish start dates, schedule pre-employment testing, and prepare new-hire paperwork.

11.   This position will also assist the corporate HR Department, field HR, HR Director and recruiting manager with other duties when necessary

12.   Will mentor and provide guidance to field recruiters and the recruiting team.

13.   Performs other duties as directed.
