Position Summary:
Kemper is growing and seeking a strong Corporate Recruiter to support ongoing talent acquisition needs for our Finance/Accounting/Product business areas by managing the outreach and job marketing aspects of the candidate generation and screening process. This role will guide senior leadership/executive candidates through the recruitment lifecycle providing a positive candidate experience. The role will support the in-house recruiting team by driving interviews and working to hire top talent.
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for maintaining a constant flow of outreaches to Finance/Accounting/Product professionals, sourcing for both active and leadership pipeline positions. Maintain consistent communications with various contacts and Kemper employees.
This role requires a high degree of organization and ability to creatively engage prospective candidates or referrals to foster interest in Kemper’s open jobs in a timely manner. Must be able to prioritize while updating candidate databases with related candidate status and networking details.
Position Responsibilities:
Work with Talent Manager and Specialist to implement and maintain appropriate recruiting / lead generation.Review and source social networks for passive candidates and referrals.Conduct initial phone screens to assess talent and experience.Schedule or route job related assessments and update databases with results.Partner with Talent Acquisition Team to execute specific job marketing plans.Follow up with internal and external leads and referrals and enter prospects into database.Expand knowledge of competitor sources and networks to gain leads.Communicate benefits of working for Kemper and details about open positions.Foster open communication & collaboration with HR team and external candidates.Escalate candidate related issues to Talent Acquisition Director when necessary.Position Qualifications:
5+ years of Corporate Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience requiredExperience recruiting for accounting, finance, and product professionalsStrong sourcing via multiple channels, candidate research and phone screening skillsApplicant database tracking experience requiredSolid experience with Microsoft Outlook and calendar functionsKnowledge of employment laws and regulationsBachelor’s degree required with emphasis in human resources or relevant job experienceSponsorship is not accepted for this opportunityThe range for this position is $77,100 to $128,500. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.
