Join our team and help us keep communities connected. **Your Opportunity** Stantec’s Northwest Transportation group has an immediate need for a highly motivated Senior Rail Specialist with 20 years of experience focusing on the railroad engineering services for mid-size to large transportation projects. This is a part-time position. It is flexible between Stantec’s Bellevue WA office and remote work. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Contribute to initiatives to help advance our project design, operations, and business development + Maintain and enhance our reputation with clients, approval agencies and industry professionals as an outstanding service provider + Lead close coordination with railroad companies and help obtaining railroad agreements. + Represent Stantec and the project design team as a technical leader + Lead by example with active support of internal policies and practices, including risk management, project management, and quality management + Develop client relationships to facilitate project activities + Establish, maintain, and promote partnerships in project pursuits **Qualifications** **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Marketing skills required + Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a dynamic and energetic environment + Design-Build or other alterative project delivery experience **Education and Experience** + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field. Post graduate degree preferred + Licensed Professional Engineer in WA + Minimum of twenty (20) years of railroad engineering experience on mid to large scale transportation projects + Experience of railroad coordination, railroad design review support, and railroad agreement support. + Business development experience required Typical office environment includes working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s): **Salary Range(s):** * $69 - $103 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WA and DC The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
