Requirements:
BTech of BSc Quantity Surveying degree and be registered as a Quantity Surveyor Min 8 years relevant experience Must be fully bilingual Valid drivers licence Knowledge of Municipal Maintenance, Pipeline Construction, Trenchless Rehabilitation, Pressure Management; Bulk Meter Installations, CCTV Inspections and High Pressure Cleaning Basic Services and handling of asbestos pipes will be an advantage Computer literate + knowledge of QS software Good organizational and time management skills Strong problem solving skills Duties will include, but not limited to:
Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents Assisting in the preparation of bills of quantities Evaluating and negotiating contractor and supplier bids Conducting site visits and monitoring construction progress Providing advice on contractual matters and variations Managing project budgets and ensuring cost control Preparing and presenting reports to clients and stakeholders In return, a competitive salary package is on offer
