Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer (QE) to be responsible for Quality for a product set within the ISS product line in Merrimack, NH. The QE will support product in the Sustainment as well as Production life cycle phases. They will have a strong aptitude for learning, drive for continuous improvement and a team-based approach to technical problem solving.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Demonstrated drive and leadership ability
-Cross-functional coordination
-Protect ISS from shipping non-conformances
-Facilitate RCCA with Corrective and Preventative Actions
-Control of non-conforming material
-Operator Feedback
-FAI (First Article Inspection)
-Part issue investigation/ Coordination with SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering)
-Data Trending
-Action tracking and closure
-Audit support
-Quality requirements clausing of components
- Quality Assurance Visual Mechanical Inspection (QA VMI)
-Presentation of Product for Customer Acceptance (Sell Off)
-Strong communications skills as well as having the ability to engage across all levels of the organization while building effective relationships
-Mentor junior quality professionals

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree and 2-6 year of experience or 6-10 years of experience in lieu of degree
+ Demonstrated proficiency as lead Quality Engineer
+ Previous manufacturing experience
+ Strong Collaborative skills both within and external to the Quality Function
+ Able to read and comprehend drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
+ Ability to drive and lead successful completion of Root Cause, Corrective and Preventive Actions
+ Self-motivated and able to manage daily priorities with minimal oversight and direction
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or technical field
+ Previous Electronics or Complex manufacturing experience
+ Green Belt
+ Experience with AS9100, PPV/AS9102 FAI, and AS9145/PPAP
+ Experience with a Quality Improvement Program (Zero Defect, Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, etc..)
+ Ability to devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
+ Perform and Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
+ Ability to create and manipulate Pivot tables and analyze data
+ Experience using TipQA or other Quality Databases
+ Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
+ Familiarity with Metrology standards
+ RCCA 8D
+ Secret Clearance
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
