We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to champion functional and product quality within our factory operations. In this position you will own the control plan for the value stream, validate standardised work from a quality perspective and serve as the leading voice of the customer quality within the value stream stream. Additionally, you will drive supplier quality improvements and ensure adherence to quality standards. 

The position will be based in Minerbio, Italy.

Main tasks and responsibilities Follow up the quality of the incoming goods and packages from safety perspective  Identify and raise concerns of unsafe practices and ensure 6S  Follow up and reporting of quality deviations/defects  Invoicing of in house technical claims  Act as the quality lead for a value stream(s)  Liaise with customers and CSCs on quality defects Create non-conformance reports for customer, internal or supplier deviations to drawing/process or performance  Use of statistical process control tools where required Suppliers co-operation related to the quality deviations, individual countermeasures/corrective actions  Create a product audit plan and conduct internal/external quality audits  Data collection according to the specific project requirements  Update daily SQDIP boards with quality metrics  Follow up of internal quality defects and amount of-rework -> coordination of corrective actions accordingly (A3, 8D)  What you’ll need to succeed BSc of technology  LSS- Yellow belt  Several years experience from quality function and strong experience from mechanical industry and assembly operations  Knowledge and awareness of different quality tools (Sourcing Navigator; ERP; A3; 8D; Kaizen, etc.) Good co-operations skills with internal and external parties  Strong technical understanding of manufactured products and it’s functionality  Understanding of technical drawings  Quality and process understanding and development attitude  Fluency in English, both written and verbal You will be part of
