You will bring enthusiasm to the team and work with a diverse set of people and products, to achieve goals independently in a structured environment. **Are you ready to embrace this challenge and grow together?** **Job Description** The **Senior Quality Engineer (SQE)** will lead the quality function in product development to ensure quality targets are properly defined and implemented, lessons learned are translated (“designed-in quality”), while contributing Time-to-Market and higher customer satisfaction. The **SQE** will work together with other divisional experts or with Trade Good Suppliers in an international environment, to manage quality activities and ensure continuous improvement efforts across the organization. + **Derive** measures to improve preventive quality of our products and contribute to their implementation in the development process + **Collaborate** with teams throughout the product lifecycle and track appropriate quality assurance measures to achieve required product maturities + **Create** methods and reports to manage stakeholder expectations and foster data-driven communication in quality. + **Lead** quality function in product development to ensure quality improvement opportunities are identified, targets are properly defined and implemented, lessons learned are translated to projects. during product development (“designed-in quality”), and requirements for quality gates are met. + **Monitor** and **conduct** analysis of warranty return & repair data, failure cost, and customer complaints for early detection of quality-related problems with a data driven approach. + **Develop** quality improvement targets in alignment with overall business objectives. + **Identify** and **drive** quality improvement and warranty cost reduction initiatives by ensuring timely and methodological problem solving through techniques such as 8D, Fishbone, 5why, etc. + **Manage** Trade Good Supplier quality issues and supplier development. + **Contribute** to reduced Time-to-Market by improved execution of processes and avoidance of deviations in projects and products. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a comparable degree program (Master’s Degree is a plus). + Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in product and quality engineering, preferably for a larger organization and in manufacturing or related industry. + Experienced indevelopment processes, preferably in agile principles as well as ISO Standards (i.e. ISO 9001, AS9100) + Quality Manager Certification, ISO Auditor and/or PMI Project Management Certification is desirable. + Must demonstrate flexibility and act as a strong team-player across different international and multicultural stakeholders, with a distinctive sense of responsibility, customer orientation and a high level of social competence. + Must be resilient in a changing business environment, and have excellent communication skills. + Must lead with confidence across different management levels and work cross-functionally. + Must have a process-oriented way of thinking paired with a strong analytical approach. + Must be fluent in spoken and written English(German is a plus). + Domestic and international travel required up to 20%. **Additional Information** + _All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines._ + _By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/Disabled._ + _BOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Initiatives:_ _FIRST Robotics_ _(For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and_ _AWIM_ _(A World In Motion)_ + _Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.
