Senior QA Associate

Position Title: Quality Assurance Senior Associate Reports To: Associate Director, Quality Location: Greater Morristown, NJ area Shift: Hybrid •Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday •Remote: Most Mondays and all Fridays Base Salary: $70,000–$75,000 Bonus: 5%–10% performance-based bonus Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Senior Associate plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing product quality and regulatory compliance. This individual will partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Medical & Scientific Affairs, and Innovation teams. We’re seeking a proactive, solution-oriented professional with a consultative approach and strong attention to detail to support improved partner and customer outcomes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred, not required Experience: 3–5 years of Quality Assurance experience in the food industry Certification: Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification Skills and Competencies: + Knowledge of FDA food and dietary ingredient regulations, HACCP / HARPC + Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM) and Compliance Quest (QMS) is preferred + Quick learner with adaptability to new systems + Experience with supplements, vitamins, food ingredients a big plus. + Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English + Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Responsibilities: + Review and assess supplier-provided documentation (SIDIs), including: + Specifications, Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), Flow Charts, Allergen/GMO statements, BSE/TSE documentation, Nutritional Data, Test Methods, and certifications + Conduct product and supplier approvals per SOPs and regulatory guidelines + Manage change control processes; evaluate and communicate supplier changes + Respond to customer documentation inquiries regarding products/facilities + Ensure customer and supplier specifications are aligned + Oversee product release processes; confirm testing/spec requirements + Maintain technical documentation in Compliance Quest + Support handling, storage, tracking, and dispatch of product samples + Perform additional duties as assigned by the Associate Director or VP of Quality Perks & Benefits: + Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance starting Day 1 + 401(k) with employee contribution options + Profit-sharing plan available after 6 months of employment HACCP, HARPC, SDS, Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Ref: #558-Scientific #MC3 System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
