About the team:

FIS Cross Asset Trading and Risk Platform (former Front Arena) is a leading global provider of financial software. We build systems for financial trading, risk management and position control. Our systems enable banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions to make critical decisions with confidence, execute their orders and follow up their positions. Independent of what asset class being traded: whether it is stock, commodities, rates or currencies; or whether it’s done through an exchange or over the counter, we’ve got it covered. But that’s just part of it. We support the whole process from sell-side to buy-side, front-to-back.

As a developer in our TAB functional development team, you will be responsible for the maintenance of our integration component between electronic trading and position keeping parts of the system, including:

Exchanging traded instruments between electronic trading and position keeping components through proprietary protocols

Receiving executed trades from the external markets and storing into position keeping database or integration message bus for data exchange

Integration with 3rd party systems through industry standard FIX protocol

What you will be doing:

Develop domain knowledge to enhance our product solution

Write Python code to support new functionalities and new markets

Support QAs in test automation

Support delivery teams and clients in developing customizations

Contribute sprint planning meetings, including task estimation

Interact with electronic trading and position teams, product owners, functional analysts

Present your functional increments to Product Owners during sprint demos

Contribute to backlog review meetings

What you bring:

BS or MS in computer science or related field

4+ years of experience in software development in Python

Relational database experience

A great interest in developing sustainable solutions with focus on quality and performance

Fluent in English

Added bonus if you have:

Knowledge of C++ is a big plus

Relevant experience in Finance, especially Capital Markets

Experience using the Microsoft technology stack (Visual Studio, SQL Server etc.)

Experience with Robot Framework or similar test automation tool

Experience in agile methodologies
