Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans. **About the** **Capital** **Project Manager (or Senior)** **Position** The Capital Projects Manager (or Senior)is accountable for the lifecycle project management of multiple complex projects and programs that impact multiple functional areas. In this role you will assemble and lead the project Core Team through the development, execution, monitoring, controlling and close out project phases. The Capital Projects Manager identifies, secures, coordinates and coaches internal and external resources necessary to manage the project or program and meet the objectives. You will also proactively engage with project Governance and key stakeholders ensuring appropriate communications occur and provide detailed and accurate status reporting on safety, cost, and schedule performance. In this role you will resolve project issues with contractors and other stakeholders that may impede successful execution of project activities while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. This role develops and implements improvements to CPC project management processes, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistently high-quality performance results. **What You Get to Do** **:** + Lead the project core team and is accountable for all aspects of the development and execution of the project or program throughout the project lifecycle in accordance with Colonial’s project management processes, procedures, and tools. + Accountable for project success ensuring the project team develops, monitors, and controls the scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance requirements. + Ensure Project Charter has been developed and approved. + Leads the development of the governance structure and requirements for the project. + Lead project team member performance and adjusts, as necessary. + Responsible for providing regular project status reports that include information on safety performance, scope changes, budget performance, schedule performance, and upcoming milestones. + Accountable for ensuring the Pre-Startup Safety Review and Management of Change (MOC) processes are accomplished. + Support Director in the reviewing, updating and management of Colonial’s project management processes, procedures and tools. + Support and lead project management initiatives as identified and assigned. **What You Bring to the Table:** + Bachelors Degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of education and experience. + Ideally, 3+ years of experience oil/gas or related industry or5+ years of experience ofproject management any industry. + Experience in managing $1 million and above projects. + Outstanding communication skills and able to connect with all levels of stakeholders and internal/external customers. + Strong understanding of fundamentals of proven project management practices and processes (including the project management knowledge areas from the PMBOK guide). + Ability to think strategically and tactically. + Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. + Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments. + Self-motivated, have phenomenal work ethic and looking for the right company to support your growth. **Got Extra to Bring** **?** + Bachelor of Engineering from an accredited college or university _._ + Ideally, 5+ years of experience in oil/gas or related industry or 2+ years of experience in Sr. project management oil/gas or related industry. + Certified Project Management Professional. + Presentation experience with Board level executives – Major Multi discipline pipeline project management experience including Technical, Controls, and SCADA **Advantages of** **Working at Colonial Pipeline Company:** Prosperity, Health, Wellness, and Happiness – Check out Colonial’s Total Rewards (https://www.colpipe.com/careers/benefits-and-total-rewards) **Are you up to the challenge?
