Senior Project Manager
**The Opportunity:** **WSP** is currently seeking a motivated **Senior Project Manager** to join our **Edmonton Northern Alberta & Indigenous** team. **Applicants not residing in Edmonton will be considered** . Reporting to a Team Lead, this position’s responsibilities include working on a wide variety of water and waste-water projects in terms of type and scale. This would including municipal water supply, pumping, storage and distribution projects; as well as municipal wastewater collection, pumping and disposal projects for public, private and First Nation clients. We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future. \# **WeAreWSP** **What you can expect to do here:** • Work with Project Managers and Engineers of various disciplines to lead and execute municipal infrastructure projects; • Provide mentorship to junior staff; • Actively participate in the design and provide direction to the design team; • Lead a multi-disciplinary project team to undertake major infrastructure projects; • Liaise with various municipal/utility/approval agencies; • Be responsible for projects (budgets, schedules, scope) and client communications; • Apply proven design experience including studies, conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs; • Lead RFP’s, Bid and Proposal documents; and • Other duties as assigned **What you’ll bring to WSP:** • Minimum of 15+ years with municipal infrastructure for Public and Private Sector projects; • An undergraduate degree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology diploma from an accredited institution; • Designation such as P.Eng., CET, P. Tech (Eng.) in Alberta; • Knowledge and application of various design standards and guidelines; • Knowledge and application of Environmental standards and guidelines; • Project Management and engineering experience on municipal and/or private sector projects; • A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset; • Experience with lift stations, reservoirs and pump stations is an asset; • Familiarity with local planning/approval processes; • Valid Class 5 Driver’s license; • Experience working with the various Northern Alberta municipalities and First Nations is an asset; **WSP** is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
