Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Birmingham, AL. Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead process improvement projects in our client's financial crimes space, focusing on fraud, BSA/AML initiatives. This role is perfect for a candidate who is assertive, adaptable, and ready to take initiative in a fast-paced, flexible environment. You will manage projects from start to finish, often stepping into challenging situations and turning them around. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: * Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of process improvement projects, ensuring objectives are met on time and within scope * Take ownership of projects from conception to delivery, including situations that require stepping in to salvage a failing project Agile and Hybrid Methodologies: * Operate within an Agile framework while applying Waterfall methodologies as needed * Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other team members to drive project success Business Analysis & Process Improvement: * Gather and analyze business requirements and current processes to identify improvement opportunities * Develop and implement actionable plans to streamline operations and enhance process efficiency Stakeholder Engagement: * Build strong, positive relationships with a project team and senior leadership * Deliver clear and effective presentations using PowerPoint to update stakeholders on project progress Project Tools & Data Analysis: * Utilize Microsoft Project for scheduling and planning * Participate in the migration to Jira; experience with Rally is a plus Adaptability & Initiative: * Be flexible and willing to take on various tasks to ensure project completion * Demonstrate the ability to quickly build rapport and -make friends- with colleagues and stakeholders * Exhibit a strong track record of initiative and stability (consistent employment preferred)
