Our client is a leading project management consultancy, with expertise across a wide variety of sectors, delivering high quality projects committed to excellence, safety, and innovation. Due to continued growth, the company is now looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager for Data Centre projects about 40 minutes North of Frankfurt. As a Senior Project Manager, you will break down projects into manageable stages, leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring successful project delivery on time and within the budget. You ideally have extensive experience in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a strong record of accomplishments in successful delivery of data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Develop detailed project plans into distinct, manageable stages with clear milestones and deliverables.
Lead and oversee the successful delivery of Data Centre projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and quality standards.
Coordinate and manage project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow.
Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure alignment and collaboration addressing any concerns & developing corrective actions.
Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project goals are achieved.
Carry out regular risk assessments to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project risks and impacts.
Perform interviews with contractors to assess their suitability for project requirements.
Engage in meetings/training and present project updates & developments.
Degree in Project Management or equivalent.
Significant years of experience in Project Management either as a consultant or client-side preferably within Data Centre projects.
Effective in German and English communication and negotiation skills with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism in both verbal and written formats.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
