Senior Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager to join our team for a large-scale fiber to the home deployment project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves leading construction projects, mentoring project staff, implementing project plans and schedules, ensuring safety and quality control, and delegating work to the project team, contractors, and tradespeople.

Essential Responsibilities

Demonstrates leadership in health, safety, and environmental protectionPromotes compliance with HS&E standards and applicable regulationsCreates and facilitates the Project Quality ProgramEnsure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, and building codesDevelops and maintains the construction scheduleLeads project meetings with internal and external stakeholdersProvides strong leadership to the construction teamIdentifies and manages opportunities and risksMaintains, tracks, and reports all financial aspects of the project

Qualifications

10 plus years of experience as a Project Manager in the Telecommunications industryPost-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practicesStrong negotiation and management skillsAbility to plan and manage project schedulesStrong understanding of construction costs and budgetsEffective communication and collaboration skillsProblem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issuesAbility to build successful teams and promote teamworkSkills in facilitation, mentoring, and conflict resolutionStrong organizational and planning skills
