All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : 40 hours/week; Monday - Friday **Location:** UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Regional Support **The role you’ll contribute:** The Senior Project Manager develops and implements long-term strategies for projects within the organization that balance cost efficiencies and economies of scale with high levels of customer satisfaction within the continuously improving processes and systems to enable operating effectiveness and meeting of the organization's goals, and employee satisfaction goals. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Establishes and/or revises project management policies and procedures to align with corporate and customer strategic direction · Provides leadership for project delivery on large scale initiatives/programs and stands in as needed to assist team members · Responsible for monitoring the assigned portfolio of projects to ensure compliance with budget, schedule, quality, process standards · Sets team priorities, organizational structure and hiring plans to ensure processes are delivered timely · Communicates the team's strategic direction and performance measures to the organization on a regular basis · Ensures delivery of business results by meeting or exceeding team objectives and managing costs · Plans and defines performance goals with team members for departmental operations • Performs other duties as assigned **KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:** • Excellent project planning, coordination and management skills • Strong understanding of the organization's development systems lifecycle • Ability to oversee and ensure projects are completed in a timely manner • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills • Ability to communicate effectively with internal support staff, operations staff, other departments and project management staff • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Word • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English **_KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:_** • High degree of judgment and originality to interpret the laws and regulations and to assist in the development of department and office policies, standard concepts, and administrative procedures • Experienced project manager with expertise in deploying and supporting region-wide projects and roll-outs. • Experience in healthcare is a plus Qualifications **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** Bachelors and 5 years experience 2 years Leadership Experience **_EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE HIGHLY PREFERRED:_** • Master's degree in a related field or combination of Bachelor's degree and related experience preferred • Seven years of technical experience preferred • Three years of leadership/management experience preferred This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
