Job Description
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for driving key business operations projects and strategic initiatives. This role requires gaining cross-functional alignment on the strategic vision and objectives of projects, meeting project goals, and ensuring that appropriate resources are identified and allocated. Projects may engage IT, Finance, and Legal systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, business analysis, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring strategic initiatives align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
ResponsibilitiesPerform all aspects of project management for assigned projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and resource management. Projects may collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and Manufacturing.Provide leadership and strategic oversight for project teams, ensuring projects are delivered within schedule and cost constraints.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines.Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and business policies.Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to stakeholders.Develop and present executive reports, dashboards, and insights to Senior Leadership.Work with large datasets to identify trends, drive business intelligence, and support strategic planning.Utilize data reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) to generate reports and analyze key performance metrics.Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other business units to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Implement best practices in project management and process optimization.Support Change Management efforts and communicate project impacts across the organization.Essential Skills5-8 years of experience in Project Management (full cycle deliverables).Strong background in data analysis and strategic planning.Experience with medical device projects.Proficiency in data management and data reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong technical skillset on business operations.Experience with large datasets in sales and finance.Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and quantitative data analysis.Experience with Tableau, Quicksite, PowerBI, and SmartSheet.Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite in Santa Clara. The position is temporary, full-time for 6 months with the possibility of extension and conversion. The ideal candidate will have a MedTech background to seamlessly integrate into the role without an extensive ramp-up period.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $69.00/hr.
