Senior Project Manager, People Team, Cambridge/ London

In this role you will be leading projects which have an impact both internally to the people team, and externally to the business.

This role is instrumental to the delivery of transformational projects and those enabling the people team to support the business through significant change. 

The role is strongly goal oriented, and will require excellent collaboration, innovation and creativity skills to navigate a wide variety of projects.

Responsibilities

Ensure all projects are delivered on time, to scope, within budget and to the required standardOversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation through to closure; manage project gatingSource and manage internal and external resouces to deliver projectAgree the definition of the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholdersEnsure project team is assembled based on resource availability and skills requiredEstablish and facilitate project governanceDevelop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, using agreed toolsEnsure project deliverables are assigned based on team members skillsets, strengths and experiencePlan and manage transition of the finished project products into BAU; ensure appropriate change managementFacilitate quality assurance, including regulatory, statutory and corporate complianceManage and influence stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achievedManage changes to scope, project schedule and project costsEnsure project risks and issues are effectively identified and managed; perform proactive contingency planningCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with the required process and standardCommunicate and report in a timely manner; escalate as appropriateAnalyse successful completion of goals and projects to establish best practice; orchestrate project review and document lessons learnt

Skills & Qualificiations

Strong leadership and influencing skillsExperience of project managementExcellent resource planning and scheduling skillsHR professional with global experience preferredPrevious experience with M&A would be an advantageAble to develop and track budgetExcellent communication and collaboration skillsOrganisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking; working to deadlinesStrong problem-solving skills – planning for success and can-do attitudeFlexibility to work in a global teamStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, collaboration tools and video-conferencing platforms, particularly MS TeamsWorking knowledge of data protection regulations like GDPR.
