Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? **What You Will Do** Development Operations (DO) Instrumentation Design Engineering is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Engineer. The Instrumentation Project Engineer is responsible for leading the design and fabrication of instrumentation hardware, that provides critical measurements for both military and commercial engines. The designs include major station probes, blade tip clearance probes, optical blade tip timing probes, slip rings, fan blade out packages & telemetry packages. Our hardware is used to collect data during the testing of every engine in the Pratt and Whitney portfolio. + Development of Basis of Estimates (BOE) for commercial and government proposals. + Provide project management to the Integrated Product Team (IPT). + Manage program/task budgets, schedules, and procurement of the designed instrumentation hardware. + Performs risks assessments and develop mitigation plan as needed. + The position requires excellent communication and team leadership skills as well as the ability to operate across a wide range of disciplines and management levels with both internal and external customers to ensure that task requirements are met. + Travel is up to 10% domestically. Must be a U.S. Citizen. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
