Principal Project Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.•\tCreating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.•\tCoordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.•\tCoaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar engineering.\t3 - 5 years of experience in EPLAN.\tBackground and experience in EPLAN is a must.\tMake electrical / mechanical drawings in EPLAN.\tTechnical parameters of a component.\tElectrical symbols and diagrams.\tKnowledge in low voltage distribution systems.\tExperience in electrical control and installations.\tAdvanced English is a must.\tThis position is office work.\t3D modeling desirable.
