Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries business unit in Mexico.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.•\tCreating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.•\tCoordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.•\tCoaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications for the role

\tYou have 8+ years of deep knowledge in P&P process.\tYou have control systems knowledge and practical experience.\tYou have experience in system configuration and software installation for DCS applications.\tYou posses travel availability and flexibility.\tYou are at ease communicating in English in an intermediate level.\tYou have experience with System 800xA technology is an asset.\tBachelor’s Degree in Engineering completed.
