How you will make contributions that matter:

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer with both management and hands on experienced as a food processing engineer to join our team.

You will bring to the role your practical capability in plant troubleshooting in both the retail and bulk production work areas.  The role covers the end-to-end project lifecycle, supporting development of business cases with the Leadership Team and then project managing through to end user handover. You will be responsible for delivering a range of capital projects up to the value of $1million.

This will include:

Design, costing, submission and implementation of capital projects on site.Managing and mentoring of direct reportsWorking cross functionally to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.Ensuring Health and Safety standards and policies are adhered toOngoing focus on continuous improvement across process and methodology to ensure best practice project delivery

You are best suited for the role if you have

Tertiary qualification in Engineering, or equivalent.Proven experience in delivery of capital projects, ideally within a manufacturing or other industrial environment and Hazop facilitation.Experience with business case development & contract managementExceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to form relationships and influence at all levels The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience with or knowledge of AutoCAD would be an advantage, but is not essentialExperience with process engineering design and equipment specificationExperience in the food, beverage or pharmaceutical industry, or other highly automated manufacturing environments would be beneficial
