Senior Project Delivery Manager - Flexible Pipe Solutions for the Oil and Gas Market

Preferably Based in Newcastle UK or possibly Houston USA

Unique opportunity to work on global projects for major clients in the USA and Southern Caribbean. Ideally based in Newcastle the position will involve regular travel (25 - 40%) to the US for client interaction, depending on needs of project. You will functionally report to the regional Subsea Services & Production Solutions North America Offshore team but be dotted line to the FPS product line in Newcastle.

Make a significant impact

As the Senior Project Delivery Manager you will be responsible for working through the whole project life cycle from inception to installation. You will develop a detailed understanding of our Flexible Pipe Systems and manufacturing processes which will be critical in identifying and mitigating project risk to drive flawless execution. You will be the key reference point with the customer for complex Flexible Pipe Projects in the region.

As our Senior Project Delivery Manager you will also be responsible for

Driving process, improvements and change across business functions to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of projects.Collaborating with business and regional leadership, manufacturing and functional leaders as well as regional sales & commercial teams, to build in-depth stakeholder relationships and deliver high quality outcomes for our customers.Leading customer kick-off meetings, project status meetings, site visits, customer project reviews and auditsTranslating customer needs and requirements into detailed project plans shared with companyEngaging and driving safety values in line with HSE, Customer & Quality Leadership commitmentsDriving flawless execution to project deliverables across the business functionsBuilding positive long-term relationships with regional customers to capture market sharePromoting a risk management mind-set to identify and eliminate project risk

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a proven track record in Project Management working on large scale and long cycle projects in an oil and gas or similar engineering and manufacturing environmentDemonstrate expert ability and experience in structured stage-gate project management principles (e.g. Prince, APM).Have credible stakeholder management and relationship building skills that inspire trust and confidenceHave effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross functional teams in a matrix style organisationDemonstrate good client facing skills with a proven track record of achieving project goals and customer satisfactionHave a continuous improvement mind-set, knowing how to prioritise and influence change
