Senior Program Manager / Tech SME , Hub Delivery

The Hub Delivery program partners with small business owners who execute last mile delivery and provide bar-raising delivery experiences for Amazon customers. Our partners deliver in some of the most challenging and complex locations in Japan, from super-rural communities to high density neighborhoods. This is a growing Amazon Delivery channel on a high growth trajectory globally.

The Sr. Tech SME will plan and orchestrate the work of several cross-functional teams to ensure on-time successful launch of the Hub Business and Tech programs as we expand into new regions. The PM will influence and coordinate teams related to attainment, network planning, volume planning, ops integration, under-the-roof operations, on-the-road execution. The role will be the Single Threaded leader to partner with Product & Tech, design solutions, reflect creativity, high judgement, and provide breakthroughs for business across cross-functional initiatives.

The SME team acts as a catalyst for change by driving innovation at the operator level, prioritizing technology initiatives and supporting engineering design innovations. The SMEs strive to be experts in Amazon’s operation systems & Hub Delivery landscape. They are accountable to delivering world class solutions through optimizing and reinventing the existing technology.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute a playbook for launching large scale programs across regions.
- Provide end-to-end coordination of all stakeholder teams that contribute to successful launch: attainment, topology, operations integration, station tech and ops, on-the-road tech and execution, Hub Delivery tech and support systems enablement.
- Ensure that the answer to "Do we have everything ready, tested and turned on, to get packages to our Hub partners successfully?" is always YES.
- Provide training to station leadership
- Monitor success and progression up to 90 days after initial launch
