Raytheon - Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) to join a growing team within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (S-ISR) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU).

What You Will Do

Provide leadership, direction, and implementation management of an Agile SW program with multiple subcontractors

Lead using industry standard Agile practices while working closely within the matrixed organization and sub-contractors

Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers, implement gates and major reviews with the customer

Manage cost, schedule, operational security, and customer interface activities

Support proposal activities in support of on-contract growth and adjacent opportunities supporting the portfolio

Work with functional leaders within the matrixed organization

Coordinate/deconflict execution schedules

Interact with customers on reporting needs

Maintain excellent customer relationships and respond to customer actions/requests in a timely, comprehensive, and accurate manner

Travel to participate in business engagements, as needed

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10 years of relevant experience in Program Management or a relevant discipline such as Project Management, Material Program Management, Cost Account Manager (CAM) or Integrated Product Team Lead, etc

Earned Value Management (EVM) / Control Account Management experience

Experience with proposal management to include new business capture

Experience leading cross-functional teams

Experience engaging and reporting out to all levels of executive stakeholders

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite resources

An active and transferable TS level U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

(SCI and CI Poly will be required )

Qualifications We Prefer

Demonstrated development and application of integrated master plan and schedule, Risk and Opportunity management, Earned Value management, closed loop corrective actions, configuration control and financial reporting

Thorough strategic thinking, analytical, and program management skills

Proven demonstration of leadership competencies, especially influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and driving results

Effective interpersonal skills especially in team building and customer relationships

Strong business sense to proactively identify and resolve problems, quickly and efficiently

Execution experience of a SAFe Agile program preferred

Expertise in SW Agile practices preferred

Subcontractor management experience

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
