A program manager (PgM) Tech plays a pivotal role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of ongoing engineering processes. This role focuses on continuous improvement, innovation, and streamlining complex cross-organizational interactions. The PgM Tech will work to enhance organizational efficiency, manage critical processes, and ensure smooth operations within the engineering organization. If you're highly organized, deeply curious, and excited to build impact from the inside out, we want to hear from you. **What the Candidate Will Do:** + Manage Engineering excellence processes, including: + Key Engineering health + Reliability initiatives + Launch gating and approvals + Critical projects leadership reviews + Support planning processes. + Stakeholder Management: Manage key stakeholder relationships, including consolidated reviews and updates. + Improve Organizational Efficiency: Identify and implement strategies to enhance organizational efficiency. + Streamline Complex Interactions: Streamline complex areas of continuous cross-organizational interactions. + Support Infra Capacity management processes. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in program management or a similar role. + Proven project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience with process management and improvement methodologies. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Degree in Engineering or Business Administration. + Experience in the relevant engineering industry or domain. + Experience leading process improvement initiatives. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Technical background and understanding of engineering processes. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
