Job DescriptionMy Client is a Global engineering powerhouse. This is a unique role. The Senior Production Planner will react daily to the maintenance and schedule needs for repair to APU's and MPU's. This role requires a high degree o improvisation and daily scheduling with a high degree of priority changes.
Are you an experienced Production Planner looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Senior Production Planner to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and optimisation of our production operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing production schedules, coordinating supply chain activities, and improving workflow processes to meet business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and sales, to ensure smooth and efficient production planning.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules to optimise output and meet customer demand.Work closely with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure material availability.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.Monitor capacity planning and ensure the best use of resources.Analyse production data to forecast future demand and mitigate potential risks.Lead and mentor junior planners to develop their skills and expertise.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between production, inventory, and customer requirements.Report on KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.Qualifications✅ Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
✅ Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and supply chain processes.
✅ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
✅ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
✅ Strong communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
✅ Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
6 month inside IR35 contract (Possibility to extend) or fixed term contract.
