SUMMARY
The Senior Product Specialist (SPS) will be responsible for preliminary project scope evaluation, describing ES solutions and closing on capital construction projects of Walk-In room products. Assuming the primary role of liaison between ES engineering and the client to differentiate ES compared to other bidders is a key to success in this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include the following, but others may be assigned:
Networks with and develops new client relationships and maintains/improves existing relations and meets the decision makers within client organizations. Evaluates bid documents, cost estimates and pricing, determines buying criteria, and collaborates with other stakeholders to develop complete proposals based on RFQ documents and internal strategy for proposal formulation and client presentation and is responsible for closing Walk-In room construction jobs. Strategizes with the Sales Director, Application Engineering and Estimating for best approach. Manages and prioritizes the sales opportunity pipeline efficiently and effectively Manages internal departmental reporting by updating quotes, budgets, pipeline projects in CRM Responsible for strong commitment to coordinate and work with other departments, including Estimating, Application Sales Engineering, technical staff, and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs. Enforces current SOP set in process development for all the SPS duties for smooth and seamless functioning. Engages extensively with Application Director on technically complex projects to enhance technical selling and strategy. Contributes to the development and refinement of the company’s sales strategy, including new market/client identification and entrance, to increase business. Attends industry association events and trade shows to provide feedback and information on market trends and client needs. Keeps current with marketplace supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. Meets quarter and annual sales goals and develops personal sales goal objectives and expected sales volume.
QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree in Engineering/Technical field. 3+ years’ experience with selling engineered solutions. Prior experience supplying solutions/products to pharmaceutical manufacturers. Experience bidding for construction projects is preferred. Refrigeration system experience is not required but would be an advantage.PREFERRED SKILLS and ABILITIES
Requires accuracy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects. Ability to read architectural drawings. Ability to self-schedule and estimate workloads/deadlines. Job may require work on weekends and after hours. Job requires some site visit travel. Knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems is preferred. Personnel leadership and development.COMPUTER SKILLS
Fluent in computer operations with at least intermediate skillset in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Experience with Dynamics CRM is a plus.REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While visiting field locations, the employee may be required to work outdoors, be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical and electrical parts; high, precarious places; dust, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions, extended exposure to sunlight; cold and heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
