Senior Product Manager - Mortgages

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and optimising the initiatives across the Mortgage portfolio in order to improve customer engagement, maximise retention and enhance overall returns. You will manage a team of 5 to deliver retention, portfolio management and financial analysis to support the overall Secured Lending Strategy.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Develop and implement the HSBC Mortgage portfolio management strategy by using design principles to ensure clear direction and market innovation.End-to-end ownership of the Mortgage product portfolio, with focus on portfolio riskCreate robust MI to help manage regrettable and non-regrettable customer attrition with a focus on segmentation across the portfolio.Responsible for ongoing customer engagement activities to drive customer advocacy and reduce attrition.Liaise with all key stakeholders to ensure the strategy has full ‘buy-in’ and support to ensure a smooth implementation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field.Strong understanding of drivers and levers of the mortgage portfolio.Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organisation to meet delivery requirement.Outstanding leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated analytical skills and able to derive business insights from data

Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
