For more information, visit SolomonEdwards Position Summary: Our client, a tech client among Fortune 500 companies, has partnered with SolomonEdwards to support their CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Product Management initiatives. The client’s lean yet high-impact product team, embedded within IT, is seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep CPQ pricing expertise. Key focus areas include volume analysis, tiered pricing, pricing models, ramps, SKU setup, list pricing, discounting strategies, waterfall pricing, and post-list price rules. In this role, you will help shape and drive the CPQ product vision and strategy to support sales and partner enablement. This is a six-month remote engagement, with potential for extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance and fit. Although this position is remote, working hours must align with Pacific Standard Time. Essential Duties: • Drive and own the pricing and quoting vision within CPQ to support GTM selling motions. Provide pricing engine subject matter expertise in the B2B industry. • Develop a pricing engine that will lay the foundation and scale with the business. • Evangelize the pricing engine vision to cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company strategy. • Define detailed product requirements and partner with developers on a release plan. • Focus on the sales experience; build wireframes and partner with UX designers for prototypes and mockups. • Drive usability and adoption through close partnership with business stakeholders. • Understand business requirements and manage the pricing and quoting roadmap aligned with business priorities. • Collaborate with UX and the technology team to develop, test, and deliver assets to Engineering. • Own the measures used to define success for your product capability. • Success metrics must be defined at the inception and tracked throughout their lifecycle. • Make metrics visible to stakeholders. Qualifications: • 7+ years of technical/functional experience within sales/go-to-market, product management, or pricing operations. • 5+ years of enterprise application implementation experience in pricing and quoting. • Exceptional writing and editing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills. • Experience in delivering products using Agile methodology. • Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of key business processes, such as Quote-to-Cash and Customer Onboarding, is highly valued for this engagement. • Strong knowledge in data, analytics, and the enablement of online platforms or services, including expertise with SQL. • Proven ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners and to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a complex, dynamic environment. • Excellent communication skills with a track record of effectively managing multiple complex tasks simultaneously. • An independent and creative thinker with demonstrated capacity to innovate, influence, and execute. • Experience with cross-functional senior stakeholder management. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience. Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
