We decide what, when, where, and how much to store at every Amazon building to ensure customer satisfaction. We do this for millions of items across hundreds of product lines, managing billions of dollars in inventory worldwide. We are looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager, Technical, to own the roadmap and feature delivery for one of Amazon’s key inventory placement systems. As a technical product owner, you will define, launch, and test significant features that identify opportunities to save costs and increase delivery speed for Amazon customers. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of engineers and scientists on system design and product delivery. Additionally, you will engage with a wide range of business and technical stakeholders across Amazon’s supply chain organization worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
Candidates should have a proven track record of owning strategic products from concept to launch, demonstrating strong customer focus and business judgment, and possess the skills to break down complex ideas into executable features and distinct phases.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Define a creative, high-quality, long-term product roadmap based on team strategy and vision.
• Develop detailed business requirements and user stories for creating product specifications and architecture for each product and application.
• Create buy-in for the product/feature/service vision and strategy among stakeholders, technical, and leadership teams.
• Drive product launches in concert with engineering, science, and analytics teams.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience owning optimization or forecasting systems or AI-based products

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
