Senior Product Manager, New Care Settings (Hybrid)
**Job Description Summary** The US Senior Product Manager, New Care Settings will have responsibility for downstream commercial product management in line with US Region deliverables. This role will heavily focus on commercial excellence in support of BD Veritor™ ensuring the highest quality customer experience through product lifecycle initiatives and driving operational excellence in demand planning/ supply coordination. Influences the development and drives the execution of functional or product line plans with direct impact to revenue. Works closely with Global Marketing, providing significant input into product line-related business decisions and resource planning. Become a **maker of possible** with us. **Key responsibilities will include** + Develop and maintain authoritative market knowledge in terms of customer buying journey, market and competitor landscape + Analyze, interpret and report market data and trends to assist with the deployment of specific actions to improve business opportunities and minimize potential threats including business metrics and KPIs + Own the development of annual business plans and long-term strategic plans related to product lifecycle planning and customer experience results; develop customer communications related to product function and updates + Lead execution of pricing excellence including analysis and review of current corridors as well as tools available to the team for accelerated approvals and customer commitments + Partner with Marketing Managers to develop and implement content for marketing communication programs across all elements of the communications mix + Support technical sales and customer training + Provide ongoing field support and responses to inventory inquiries within the assigned portfolio(s) as well as drive analytics plan for business needs across key metrics + Align with the Global platform(s) to chip in to the ASR, forecast and budget cycles + Support and participate in sales planning, opportunity management/funnel health and customer engagements + Actively partner with Sales for GPO planning, RFP’s responses, pricing renewals **About you** + Leadership presence with ability to apply organizational channels, experience and influencing skills to successfully negotiate and persuade others, comfortable with sophisticated and matrixed-team environments. + Strong organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of exciting priorities. Ability to routinely work on multiple tasks with multiple people while optimally prioritizing. + Excellent analytical abilities and numerical proficiency with natural curiosity toward new and different thinking on problem solving + Excellent presentation and written communication skills, comfortable with addressing Sales and across Executive Leadership teams on business analytics + Experienced in using Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint + Self-motivated and able to work independently with regular check-ins on progress toward goals + Well organized with excellent process leadership skills + Willing to travel 15%-20% of the time to US customer sites, meetings and/or conferences **Education and experience required** + Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Analytics, Finance, Computer Sciences. MBA preferred. + Minimum 7 years in product and/or market management. Business experience may include marketing, sales, sales training, business development. + Prefer minimum of 2 years of business experience in the life science industry. + Experience in targeted marketing, competitive analysis, pricing strategy and go to market models and strategies effective as well as financial analysis and demand planning. + Experience with operations/manufacturing and supply chain principles a plus. + Demonstrates effective communication and presentation abilities and can work internationally with diverse cultures and a heavily matrixed organizational framework. + Displays an understanding of product lifecycle management, business strategy planning, comprehensive market assessment and financial justification/analysis using product line financial management tools.
