THE ROLE Thrive Market’s Product Management team seeks a highly quantitative individual who will be an exceptional addition to our Product team. Our ideal candidate is passionate about driving consumer-facing e-commerce solutions through delivering a unique and world-class shopping experience to our Thrive Market customers. With your experience, you will find, ideate, and ruthlessly prioritize key strategic e-commerce customer and business opportunities from inception to delivery while working with the executive team, key stakeholders, engineers, product design, analytics, and other cross-functional teams. You should love solving customer user experience problems and seeing new business opportunities utilizing qualitative and quantitative data through the empathetic lens of the user journey and by working closely with our Member Services department. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a data-driven ideator, charismatic driver, curious problem solver, and persuasive communicator. This is an opportunity to contribute and be a part of a best-in-class approach to bringing healthy foods and natural goods at affordable prices to all our members.RESPONSIBILITIESEffective, data-driven backlog prioritization and communication of customer and business requirements to development and cross-functional teams, while always aligned to business KPIs and company OKRsContinually articulate problem statements, hypotheses, test plans and communicate strategic approach to leadership, key stakeholders, and development teamsEvaluate end-to-end customer journeys and continually identify opportunities to improve member engagement and revenue-driving  experiences across mobile web, desktop, and native applicationsHelming thoughtful experimentation across products to constantly improve the member experience through feedback and A/B testingDemonstrated ability to responsibly own projects, think big, and influence across all levels of an organization to champion product linesEfficient in gathering and transforming business needs into UACs and developing actionable and measurable delivery criteria for development and product design teams with urgencyExperience working with an agile mindset, as well as key product management best practicesLead initiatives to optimize conversion rates and increase average order value (AOV) through strategic product enhancements, category experiences, and shopping personalizationQUALIFICATIONS5+ years of product management experience3+ years of experience on native consumer mobile appsE-commerce experience is a mustExtensive experience with data-driven problem definition, building hypotheses, and executing A/B testingLeveraging our internal dashboards, you should be comfortable pulling baseline data to create insights and discover trends from our users (and for more complex analysis collaborate closely with our Analytics team)Driven by data and exceptional analytical skills; you know how to use both quantitative and qualitative data to build productsStrong communication and storytelling skills with stakeholders in all departmentsSuperior organization and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and communication linesCraft the product strategy for your area based on data, including transactional data, usage statistics, primary design target research, competitive analysis, and industry analyst reportsAffinity for the social mission of Thrive Market and a deep appreciation and empathy for the needs of the customerProven track record of successfully launching and scaling revenue-generating products or features in a consumer-facing e-commerce environmentSubscription and/or Online Grocery product management experience is a plus! Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
