Senior Product Engineer

**Job Summary**
Senior Product Engineer is responsible for product engineering projects management planning and completion for control valve and actuation products in AP region. Product engineering projects will also include enhancements/modifications or cost reductions to existing products. Project responsibility includes concept development to providing the product and technical information required for the successful release, manufacture, and sale of products to customers. Individual will assume project lead role of a multi-functional design teams working with suppliers, manufacturing, sales and customers as required
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Lead and ensure that product engineering projects are introduced on time, within budget, and meet the design objectives and appropriate standards. Plan and direct engineering, CAD design, and technician workforce to meet project objectives.
+ Plan and prioritize department objectives to ensure cost, quality, resources, and product delivery are consistent with the business organization.
+ Execute department plans within the policies and guidelines.
+ Interact cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Quality, Facilities, Human Resources, and Finance departments to meet department objectives, customer satisfaction goals of the company.
+ Organize, develop, and ensure training of product engineering projects staff are provided to meet continued product quality, performance, delivery, and technology standards.
+ Design department metrics and review them to ensure acceptable performance to the company.
+ Participate in or lead steering committees as required to drive organizational issues associated with tools, processes, and procedures.
**Who You Are:**
You are self-motivated with an understanding of engineering principles and their application. You are Creativity required with solid analytical skills. You are an effective communicator with demonstrated good interpersonal skills. You possess effective communication and good interpersonal skills.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering with core emphasis in Mechanics of Materials, Fluid Dynamics, Controls, and Materials Science is valuable.
+ Proficiency in computer based analytical tools (e.g. CAD, Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics). Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and other industry codes and standards.
+ Effective oral and written communication skills including proficiency in English with CET 6 is preferred. 4. Demonstrated planning, organizing, and team skills required.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Applicants with design experience in process control industry or similar field.
+ Capable of process improvement.
