Senior Product Designer

Position Summary:

The Sr. Product Designer is responsible for discovering, designing, and delivering visual solutions as defined by the Product Director. Key activities will include but are not limited to; identifying and articulating design problems, formulating solution hypotheses, contributing to the refinement of the design process and analyzing A/B test results. As a senior member of the team, they will often provide guidance to more junior members and tackle the most critical product needs.

Primary Accountabilities:

TechnicalHighly proficient with drawing up and executing on design solutions as well as creating wireframes and mock-ups to specifications; driven to create a vision that will delight our customers and help us stand out in the marketplaceDesign cohesive solutions across desktop, mobile and native appsAdvocate for a best in class customer experience; leverage customer feedback, research data and industry trends to create solid design solutionsValidate design hypotheses by specifying and gathering data from A/B testsBe analytical, structured and adept at ingesting team feedback to advance sound design principlesBring proven product design techniques and insight to apply the right tools for each circumstance, including knowing how and when to apply techniques such as usability testing, interviews, surveys, user types, personas, maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, etc., but also recognizing when to disregard process and best practices to move quickly and achieve an MVP.Expertly conduct research, gather requirements and rapidly translate information and insights into design experiments, solutions, and artifacts (diagrams, flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, usability tests, visual design, etc.)InfluenceMaintain and grow strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and leaders within our group to ensure alignment and buy-in on design solutionsEffectively collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine requirementsAnalyze user feedback and iterate to enhance user experienceCommunicate designs and articulate design rationale to drive consensus

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors preferably in design or similar field of study required7-9 years 8-10 years of professional UX/UI/Product Design experience in a fast-paced tech environment; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position requiredExperience in Retail/Grocery, B2B Products, or CPG preferredExperience with A/B testing requiredExperience working with Agile Development and a demonstrated ability to work flexibly and be lean in approach with a no ‘fluff’ MVP first philosophy. requiredA well-rounded portfolio demonstrating breadth and depth in UX and visual design.Fluency in a variety of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, etc.Proficient in Google Suite
