Overview:

Foster relationships with third party providers that assist M&T in providing solutions and services to new and existing Debit Card and Credit Card customers.  Responsible for expense management and ensuring that service levels are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and deepen relationships with third party providers

Management and oversight of expenses incurred by third party partnerships

Review new developments on company markets, evaluating potential products, and recommending the development of new products or the modification of existing products.

Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments in  the bank’s products.

Identifies the need for additional internal relationships, works to develop those relationships as appropriate.

Perform special projects or assignments as requested by management.

Executes tactics to meet business objectives as directed.

Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.  Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

Associates’ degree, or equivalent work experience

Minimum of three years’ banking or related experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or finance, or the equivalent in work experience

Four to five years banking or related experience

Project or Inventory Management skills

Highly organized with an ability to multi-task

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, as well as contribute on an individual basis

Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

Working Model/Office Location:

This is a hybrid location requiring 3 days in-office per week.  Eligible candidates must live within commuting distance to 345 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14203.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $51,504.81 - $85,841.35 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
