Job Description 

Under the direction of the Senior Production Manager, the Producer will be focused on the successful execution of our in-house photo shoots. This leadership role will oversee daily ecomm photo shoots and lead production of in-house editorial and special projects shoots. The Producer is excited about the behind-the-scenes work and the many details that make a photo shoot. This team player loves a fast-paced and always evolving environment and enjoys collaboration with in-house photographers, stylists, and art directors. Daily responsibilities will include leading the development and communication of weekly ecomm shooting schedules, understanding sample availability, partnering with creative, operational and strategy partners to successfully produce elevated in-house photo shoots from development to delivery. They will also be fulfilling seasonal and weekly marketing needs. This role requires a strong ability to gather and assess information for multiple projects and photo shoots and form a clear understanding of the best path to execution.

This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.  

What Will You Be Doing? 

Reporting into the Senior Production Manager, leading production for A&F & YPB elevated on-figure and editorial still life studio photo shootsManage A&F & YPB weekly on-figure studio shooting schedule with the Assistant Producer based on current and upcoming sample availability and deliverable requestsCoordinate and manage weekly freelance needs for the A&F & YPB studios in conjunction with the HCo. & GH Sr. ProducerProvide on-set daily production support for all brands in-house photo shoots including assisting photography team in set pre-lights and strikesLead casting efforts for A&F & YPB model talent and support HCo. & GH casting as needed; Ensure casting efforts align with brands’ vision and budgetsOwn and maintain A&F & YPB casting process, including database and meeting management, to align with brands’ needs and budget goalsNegotiate rate and usage for external talent and crew; Ensure all A&F & YPB talent and crew releases and contracts are signed and archivedCo-produce abercromie kids on-figure studio shoots alongside HCo. & GH Sr. ProducerArrange and approve air travel, hotel, ground, and per diem for talent and hair & make-up artists for in-house editorial and kids photo shootsRun sample maintenance reports using company database; Assess and communicate results to studio team weeklyAssist Assistant Producers with vendor set-up process as neededSource top freelance talent (local & non-local) and continue to build strong relationships with studio vendorsProcess, submit, and track vendor invoices and expenses on a weekly or bi-weekly basis; Support Sr. Production Manager with monthly budget maintenanceInventory and send out studio equipment for maintenance and repairCollaborate with studio leads and third-party production team on other in-house studio shoots as neededWork closely with studio leadership to improve current studio processesUphold high studio standards for all brands

What Do You Need To Bring? 

Bachelor's degree or related experienceMinimum 5+ years photo studio or production background, preferably in a retail studio environmentVery strong organizational, attention to detail, and communication skillsSharp budgeting and negotiation skillsSolution-oriented mindsetProven ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and stay calm under pressurePassion for creative works, art, and fashionAbility to lift and move studio equipment and propsProficient in MS Office Suite and Google DocsFamiliar with Apple OS and Adobe Creative Suite and JIRA software
