As Senior Producer, you play a pivotal role in shaping the show's daily content. You understand the essence of FOX & Friends’ unique format and style and can pitch new and original ideas in a collaborative team setting. As a natural leader with a track record of success, you can effectively communicate with multiple on-air talent and manage a team during fast-paced, breaking news situations. You understand FOX and Friends requires a high level of flexibility, commitment, and dedication. You have strong editorial skills and a wide range of interests from news and politics to pop culture and everything else in between.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Build the show's rundown with original content and best elements while maintaining editorial structureFacilitate effective communication with the show’s co-hosts and on-air guestsManage and communicate with talent, producers, bookers, and the control room during breaking newsIdentify and recognize stories with high potential for compelling televisionMentor and develop show staff including Line Producers, Writers, Bookers, APs, and Production AssistantsApprove and edit scripts, banners, and full screensParticipate in daily team meetings to develop show contentOversee the execution and production of the show
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience5+ years of newsroom experience, including producing and line producing a television newscastDemonstrated experience working with on-air talentExceptional editorial and writing skills Experience as a producer of opinion-based content a plusAbility to recognize stories with high potential for compelling televisionPassion for storytelling with a strong creative driveExcellent time management and organizational skills, coupled with the ability to establish a team-oriented work atmosphere Attention to detail, an aptitude for working under tight deadlines, and effectively handling multiple priorities simultaneouslyStrong interest and knowledge of current events, politics, and lifestyle topics#LI-DNI

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $95,000.00-180,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
