Overview
A leading retail company situated in the Western Cape is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join their team.
The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:
Developing and executing category strategies. Establishing & maintaining strategic supplier relationships (incl. supplier performance management). Strategic negotiations with suppliers. Gathering market intelligence by scanning the external environment to keep abreast of new industry approaches & market developments in order to enhance category strategies. Ensuring governance excellence in the category management environment (incl. the establishment and ongoing management of supply agreements / contracts). Central Procurement, Assortment Optimisation and Strategic Pricing Category ownership of the Online Store and the E-catalogue Central and Online PromotionsKey requirements:
