Job Description:
Are you a seasoned engineer with a passion for innovation and process improvement? Join our dynamic team as a Sr. Process Engineer, where you'll spearhead technological advancements and streamline processes to drive productivity and reduce costs. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of creating and implementing cutting-edge products and processes, with a focus on extrusion and medical tubing. You'll work extensively in a Class 7 clean room, performing validations and setting up processes to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Oversee and optimize processes and operating systems for the manufacture of flexible packaging products.
+ Lead global projects, identifying and sourcing capital needs to achieve best-in-class technology and processing.
+ Execute cost and quality improvement projects to support manufacturing goals and reduce COGS.
+ Define and manage project activities for the commercial release of new products and corresponding manufacturing processes.
+ Work closely with site operations leadership to identify and resolve technical challenges and support commercial solutions.
+ Act as a bridge to the commercial team, determining product requirements for new opportunities.
+ Scope and execute complex validation requirements, managing major validation efforts.
+ Apply best practices in risk management by identifying hazards, evaluating risks, and implementing controls.
+ Collaborate and communicate effectively within a cross-functional organization, presenting technical information to diverse audiences.
Essential Skills:
+ Expertise in medical equipment, extrusion, validation, and medical tubing.
+ Proficiency in polymer extrusion.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
+ Subject Matter Expert in extrusion.
+ Familiarity with Polyolefin materials and their applications.
+ Understanding of the flexographic printing process, including inks, plate materials, diluents, and drying.
+ Experience with Project Management, Design of Experiment, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and Statistical Analysis.
+ Resourceful and innovative in driving projects to completion.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify errors and deficiencies.
+ Effective communication of project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
