In this role, you will join a small, highly-focus team working to develop and maintain signal processing applications for use in a real-time operational environment. The team members are multi-disciplined and contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. The team works closely with operations personnel to meet unique and continuously development needs.

What You Will Do

Serve as Product Owner for a Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) software product.

Provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel.

Seek input and feedback from the customer users, perform technical analyses, and define how the system works by developing system interfaces, use cases, stories, and tasks.

Work with the Release Train Engineer, System Architect, and Chief Engineer on the development of cloud-based SW architecture and technologies to be implemented by the Product Team which they direct.

Qualifications You Must Have

A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years of relevant software engineering experience.

Experience as a software product owner.

Experience with the software development lifecycle using the SAFe Agile methodology.

Familiar with Algorithm development.

An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.  An active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance that can be crossed over to a TS/SCI security clearance is also acceptable.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience with SIGINT, Digital Communication, or digital signal processing software development.

Experienced with DevSecOps, cloud technologies, GitLab pipeline automation and deployment, and O&M practices.

Software development experience using Java, C/C++, or similar programming languages.

CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner).

Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development, and automated test.

Experience with Atlassian Tools.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
