Job Description
The Sr. Principal Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting multiple large-scale projects concurrently related to product software and process development, including the development of requirements, testing plans, and process documents. Products include cloud-based software used to facilitate ambulatory cardiac monitoring and reporting.
ResponsibilitiesWork with Product Management, the IDTF, Customer Experience, Finance, and IT to analyze and specify the needs of key stakeholders.Collect, analyze, and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.Participate as a product and feature subject matter expert in product definition and support.Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements and technical specifications that are comprehensible to developers and project teams.Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and project teams.Work with business leaders to develop process documentation and work instructions focusing on quality and team efficiency.Define and execute a testing plan to identify functionality or data issues upstream in the development process and prior to implementation.Support the technical team with the preparation of documents for regulatory compliance to the FDA and other global standards.Identify and solve strategic and tactical product and program problems.Drive cross-functional decision making in areas of program strategy, project scope, task and feature prioritization, and feature definition.Provide guidance and mentoring to team members in navigating product development and production support of a medical device.Support the project manager in completing project plan tasks, managing team and stakeholder expectations for timelines and deliverables, drafting stakeholder communications, and meeting project milestones.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsAbility to work with key stakeholders such as Product Management, the IDTF, Customer Experience, Finance, and IT to analyze and specify their needs.Ability to translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements and technical specifications that are comprehensible to developers and project teams.Ability to support the technical team with the preparation of documents for regulatory compliance to the FDA and other global standards.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Extensive experience on projects for software engineering and IT with a customer-facing product focus.Proficiency in Azure DevOps.QualificationsBS/BA degree required in a related Engineering discipline with a focus on Software and Project Management skills.12+ years of experience in Business Analyst / Project Analyst roles with demonstrable evidence of successfully partnering with customers and achieving shared goals and outcomes.Healthcare and/or medical device experience is preferred.Solid understanding of software development methodologies and processes.Proven experience building, maintaining, and leveraging strategic and cross-functional relationships through effective communication and collaborative leadership.Proven track record of analytical ability, operational excellence, and detail orientation.Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills including verbal, written, negotiation, and overcoming objections.Work Environment
The work environment offers flexibility, with a preference for local candidates who can come onsite in Bellevue three days a week. However, fully remote candidates are also accepted. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00
