Marmon Heavy Duty Brakes Group is hiring for a Senior Pricing Analyst with our corporate office located in Cullman AL.As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will be primarily involved with supporting/improving the current pricing processes/projects, measurement, and analyses, while helping establish new, actionable pricing strategies, operating metrics, and KPIs. Under the direction of the HD Brakes Controller, this role will positively impact the business through management of key pricing-related activities, supporting in-flight as well as new pricing projects, and partnering with critical stakeholders such as Operations, Sales/Account Management, and Client Experience to increase organizational value.
Essential Functions
Design, develop, and maintain pricing measurement frameworks and tools that evaluate pricing effectiveness, elasticity, and profitability.Lead the application of AI/ML techniques (e.g., demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, segmentation) to support pricing strategies across products and channels.Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Finance teams to integrate pricing models and tools into business processes.Monitor pricing performance through KPIs and dashboards, identify trends and outliers, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.Develop test-and-learn strategies (e.g., A/B pricing tests) to optimize pricing recommendations and validate model assumptions.Evaluate and implement third-party pricing solutions, AI platforms, or develop proprietary tools in collaboration with engineering and data teams.Stay current on industry trends, AI advancements, and pricing technologies to drive innovation within the organization.Provide direct management of the price increase measurement process. Coordination among Finance, IT and Operations is critical. The scope includes existing process improvements and future state planning and implementation.Analyze, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies for current products and identify areas for improvement. This will involve gathering and analyzing data for opportunities among existing and potential service offerings.Evaluate pricing opportunities through Quads and Quartiles.Support the Pricing organization on an ad hoc basis with pricing analyses and models such as discount trending, competitive pricing, bundling, cost-plus and value-based pricing.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Position Qualifications
Strong data analysis skills: financial/business modeling experience is a plus.High proficiency in MS Office, particularly with Excel, Power Bi and PowerPoint.Effective oral and written communication skills with an ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented people.Initiative; originate productive actions without specific instructions; generate new ideas, processes and approaches to meet business needs.The ability to be a change agent in institute best practices to drive operational performance and effectiveness across the group.Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.Attention to detail with ability to organize data effectively.Experience working with CPQ, SQL, and pricing software are a plus.Functional knowledge of financial reporting systems and methodologies for reporting using business intelligence tools are a plus.Experience
